Began in the back-office of Italian finance, Intesa Sanpaolo, then ArcaFondi, wiring Bloomberg and Morgan Stanley feeds into Java services that had to be right by 09:00, every morning, without exception. The discipline stuck. The taste for systems that fail loudly stuck. Now the surface area is wider: Django, Next.js, Celery queues humming on DigitalOcean, and SQL-backed AI workflows stitched out of OpenAI, Mistral, and a great deal of patience.
Italian, with Cuban roots, currently building fully remote at Epiphany, a Copenhagen-based AI company. Off the clock there is a record label, a small one, run out of stubbornness more than business sense. It teaches you the same lesson a production incident teaches you: the work is the work, and nobody is coming to do it for you.
Shipping Django + Next.js apps, SQL-backed AI workflows and Celery-based async pipelines on DigitalOcean, turning Epiphany’s product work into reliable production systems.
Worked across backend and R&D at ArcaFondi, an Italian SGR, building Java services for portfolio, market-data, and internal research workflows with Bloomberg and Morgan Stanley integrations.
Built and maintained backend services for banking workflows, focusing on reliability, integrations, and day-to-day production support.
If you are building something that needs a backend that won’t quietly fall over, or an LLM pipeline that won’t hallucinate your business away,
write.
